The academic section handles a wide range of responsibilities, primarily focused on student management, course administration, and institutional collaboration. Key areas include:
UG & PG Student Affairs: Managing admission, orientation, class schedules, counseling, scholarships, and addressing student issues for MBBS, B.Sc. Nursing, MD/MS/MDS, M.Sc. Nursing, DM/MCH, PDCC, and initiating PhD courses. The section also coordinates thesis-related work and facilitates communication with students’ parents.
Paramedical Courses: Overseeing course management for B.Sc. MLT, B.Sc. OT Technicians, and developing new courses in trauma, emergency, radiology, etc.
Collaborations and Student Exchange Programs: Facilitating student exchanges and managing MoUs with institutes various of significance for joint research and academic collaboration.
Student Welfare & Activities: Organizing welfare activities, managing student exchanges, and collaborating with various committees for smooth operations in co-curriculum activities.
Intern Management & Evening Classes: Planning and implementing the internship program.
Examinations & Recruitment: Scheduling exams, managing recruitment processes for residents and tutors, and maintaining duty rosters and service records.
Celebrations & Events: Organizing foundation and annual day celebrations, including cultural and academic events.
