Welcome to AIIMS Kalyani |

Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology

The Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology Department at AIIMS Kalyani was established in December 2023. Currently general Rheumatology OPD services are offered on Monday , Wednesday and Friday each week. In addition there are special clinics for SLE and vasculitis patients held on Tuesday and Thursday respectively. We are excited to announce the launch of the e-sanjeevani teleconsultation service every Saturday providing telemanagement services to patients from all regions of the country. Furthermore , the department offers comprehensive inpatient admission with minimal charges to ensure integrated patient management.

From April 2024, the Rheumatology Department had been shifted to a separate block at the ground floor of the IPD building. This ground floor location will make it easier for our patients with arthritis to access services with less hassle. Currently there are two Assistant Professors who have received specialized training in Rheumatology from prestigious institutes in India.

The awareness of Rheumatology is growing and there is an unmet need for comprehensive care for patients with rheumatic diseases. The Rheumatology department at AIIMS Kalyani aims to provide state-of-the-art rheumatology services not only in West Bengal but throughout India. From the latest technology to expert medical professionals we strive to offer the best care possible to our patients. With a focus on comprehensive and multidisciplinary approaches we aim to improve the quality of life for those suffering from rheumatic diseases.
