Burn & Plastic Surgery

The Department of Burn and Plastic Surgery is going to start its Routine OT services very soon;

Routine services:
 Post-Burn Reconstruction
 Post-Traumatic Reconstruction
 Microvascular Surgery (Free Flaps, Micro neurovascular Procedures)
 Onco-plastic reconstruction
 Treatment of Congenital deformities
 Treatment of Cleft and Craniofacial deformities
 Treatment of Vascular Malformations and Tumours
 Reconstruction of Hand injuries and Tumours
 Reconstruction of Nerve injuries including Brachial Plexus injuries
 Cranio-Maxillofacial surgery
 Aesthetic surgery (Breast Augmentation/Reduction, Fat Grafting, Liposuction, Hair Transplant etc.)
 Facial Reanimation in Facial Nerve Palsy.
 Other facial cosmetic procedures.

The Burn and Plastic Surgery Department will start its Emergency services soon;

Emergency services:
 Treatment of Hand injuries, amputations and fractures
 Treatment of Maxillofacial injuries and Fractures
 Treatment of Nerve injuries
 Ortho-plastic Surgery
 Peripheral Vascular injuries

FUTURE EXPANSION OF BURN AND PLASTIC SURGERY SERVICES:
1. Wound, Ostomy and Continence Care Unit and Training Facility.
2. A dedicated State-of-the-art Burn Care Centre with Skin Bank.
3. Micro Vascular Surgery Training Lab.
4. Fellowships/ Training Programs (Micro-neurovascular/ Onco-plastic/ Facial Plastic and Reconstruction).
5. Replantation Corridor (Limb/ Finger) and preparation/planning for Future Hand Allo-transplantation.
