Following special clinics are running at present in the afternoon (2-5pm):

2. Psoriasis Clinic: Tuesday (Registered patients: 584)
3. Child Skin Clinic: Wednesday (Registered patients: 336)
4. STI Clinic: Thursday (Registered patients: 27)
5. Vitiligo Clinic: Friday (Registered patients: 276)

‘SURAKSHA CLINIC’, sanctioned by the state NACO cell has been started in May, 2023 and provides holistic management and counselling for the patients suffering from Sexually Transmitted Infections.

A dedicated minor OT is run by the residents and faculty 6 days / week. Skin biopsy, nail biopsy, and minor surgeries are done here. Various other procedures are done for patient care as below:
1. Electrosurgery & Radiofrequency cautery
2. Chemical cautery
3. Iontophoresis
4. Patch Test for Contact Dermatitis
5. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy
6. Cryotherapy
7. Chemical Peels
8. Hand & foot Phototherapy
9. Targeted Phototherapy
10. Laser Therapy (Q-switched Nd-YAG Laser, Fractional CO2 Laser)

The department aspires to establish a ‘state of the art’ phototherapy unit in the Eastern India and a ‘center of excellence’ in dermatological care.
