Department of Radiation Oncology/Radiotherapy

The services available at Radiotherapy Department –

1. Radiation Oncology OPD service (Tuesday and Thursday),
2. Comprehensive Cancer Management [Biopsy + Imagings + Multidisciplinary Board etc.],
3. Radiotherapy (RT) services [ Conventional RT, 3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, Electron Therapy etc.].

The upcoming services are –

1. Brachytherapy,
2. 2^nd EBRT machine,
3. HexaPOD couch with six degrees of freedom of movement [ 3 translational & 3 rotational] – [very useful for SRS/SRT and SBRT],
4. Active Breathing Coordinator (ABC) system for targeting the tumor moving with respiration,
5. 4D imaging and on-couch image matching for moving target etc.
